ALIBUNAR OPEN Veterans Ranking Table Tennis Tournament

• Doubles will be played in men’s or women’s events only. Mixed doubles are not available.
• The Absolute category has no age limit.
• The Women’s Open category has no age limit.
• If fewer than five players enter an age group, they will be moved to the next lower age category.

COMPETITION FORMAT

• The tournament will begin with a group stage, followed by a knockout stage.
• The group and match schedules will be announced on the day of the tournament.
• Matches will be played as best of five games.
• Each game is played to 11 points, with a minimum winning margin of two points.

ELIGIBILITY

• Players over 40 years of age, as well as those who turn 40 during the 2026 competition year, are eligible to participate. Each player must compete in their own age category.
• Each player may enter singles in their age category and men’s or women’s doubles.
• The Absolute and Women’s Open categories have no age limit.
• The organizer reserves the right to verify a player’s eligibility and disqualify anyone who does not comply with these rules.

Please provide your full name, year of birth, and the category or categories you wish to enter (singles and/or doubles).

PRIZES AND AWARDS

The top three places in each category will be awarded:

• 1st place: trophy, medal and merchandise prize
• 2nd place: trophy, medal and merchandise prize
• Joint 3rd place: medal and merchandise prize

Note: There will be no match for third place. Both players or pairs who lose in the semifinals will share third place and receive the same awards.

MEALS

• Lunch will be provided for all players.
• Lunch is included in the entry fee at no extra cost.

OTHER PROVISIONS

• The current rules of the ITTF and the Table Tennis Federation of Serbia will apply.
• The organizer reserves the right to amend these regulations, with participants notified in good time.
• Any disputes during the tournament will be resolved in accordance with ITTF rules.
• All participants take part at their own health risk. The organizer accepts no responsibility for injuries or health complications.
