4th Recreational Table Tennis Ranking Tournament – Zagorje 2026/2027

Fourth Tournament for the Slovenian Ranking List 2026/2027 for recreational players.

Eligibility
Players who meet the current NTZS and ITTF participation rules may enter.

Categories
Men’s singles: up to 39 years (9:00 AM); 40–49 (9:00 AM); 50–59 (9:00 AM); 60–64 (9:00 AM); 65–69 (10:00 AM); 70–74 (10:00 AM); over 75 (10:00 AM).
Women’s singles: up to 60 years (10:00 AM); over 60 (10:00 AM).
Men’s doubles: up to 39; 40–60; over 60.
Women’s doubles: one open category.
A category requires at least five registered players. If fewer players register, they compete in the nearest younger category. The age group is determined for the whole season: for example, a player who turns 50 by 30 June 2027 competes in the 50–59 category for the entire season.

Competition format
Singles are played under NTZS rules, best of five sets. Groups contain three or four players and everyone plays everyone. The first and second players from each group enter the final group; the remaining players enter the consolation group. Seeding follows the Slovenian ranking list. Doubles are knockout, with no third-place match; seeding also follows the ranking list.

The organisers will also check registrations before the tournament, until 8:30 AM. Please include your full name, category or year of birth, and the town or club you represent.

Entry fee
EUR 20 per player, payable before the start of the tournament. Refreshments will be provided.

Officials and awards
During the group stage, matches are officiated by a person who is not currently playing. In other disciplines, the player who has just lost officiates. The first four players in each singles category, the first four doubles pairs and the winners of the consolation groups receive medals. Awards are presented in the hall after the tournament.

Privacy
By registering, participants agree that photographs, interviews, film and video recordings made in connection with the event may be distributed and published free of charge in print and online media. Participants also agree that competition results may be published and processed further.
